para-Toluenesulfonic acid (PTSA, pTSA, or pTsOH) or tosylic acid (TsOH) is an organic compound with the formula CH3C6H4SO3H. It is a white extremely hygroscopic solid that is soluble in water, alcohols, and other polar organic solvents. 

The CH3C6H4SO2 group is known as the tosyl group and is often abbreviated as Ts or Tos. Most often, TsOH refers to the monohydrate, TsOH.H2O.[6]

As with other aryl sulfonic acids, TsOH is a strong organic acid. It is about one million times stronger than benzoic acid.[6] It is one of the few strong acids that is solid and therefore is conveniently weighed and stored.

Uses：Mainly used in electron, medication,

pesticide, coloring matter intermediate; also it scour, plastics, coating and resin hardener etc.

Packaging: In 25Kg woven plastic bag or 25Kg net paste board barrel, packing at the request of customers.

Storage: Store in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place. Avoid heat and direct sunlight.

Safety Precautions:

This product is flammable. Direct mixing

with hardeners or other acids may cause an explosion. Use explosion-proof

ventilation systems and equipment. Firefighting and leak response devices must

be available on-site.

This product is toxic and irritating.

Operators must wear protective gear.

Empty containers are prohibited from

being cut or heated without thorough cleaning.

Storage and usage areas should be cool,

well-ventilated, and away from open flames and heat sources. Containers must be

sealed.

Extinguish fires using water mist, foam,dry powder, carbon dioxide, or sand.

First Aid Measures:

Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and rinse thoroughly with flowing water.

Eye contact: Lift eyelids and rinse with

flowing saline or physiological saline. Seek medical attention.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration immediately. Seek medical attention.

Ingestion: Induce vomiting and seek

immediate medical attention.
